We make an initial appointment to meet you at your home or our showroom, at no cost to you. We listen to your goals—your needs, wants and desires. We’ll measure all rooms directly related to your proposed remodeling project. Next, we’ll meet at our showroom for a presentation where we’ll discuss the ideas we’ve created for you. We will also go over the budget. A non-refundable design retainer is payable before moving forward after this second meeting, and in return we will provide you with drawings and plans for your space. We will credit the retainer to the overall cost of your completed project.
Your design plans will be presented here at our showroom. Your views and feedback will be very important at this meeting. You will also review options for cabinets, tiles, countertops, hardware, door style, wood species and finishes. Although you will not be asked to commit to your exact choices at this time, we do need to determine certain parameters for more precise estimating purposes. Appliance requirements, make and models, and sink equipment options will be discussed. With this information in hand, we will be able to begin comprehensive pricing of your project.
When all the design requirements have been satisfied and selections made, your designer will present the formal design plan and elevation drawings. A written proposal, which includes an itemized cabinetry listing, will accompany your design plans. Final selections will be made at this time for cabinetry and appliances. Counter surface color selections may be done at this time or at another meeting.
Once you have signed all the contracts and we have your deposit, we will submit your order to the selected cabinetry, tile and counter manufacturers. Once the manufacturer has given us a confirmed date and time for delivery, we will contact you and advise you of the schedule. The time required to install a kitchen or bathroom varies, but we can assist by furnishing an estimated installation schedule. Soon you’ll be able to enjoy your new space!
